Is Loonies a dating app?

No. Loonies is built for friendly meet-ups such as coffee, a walk or some company. There are no swipes, likes or dating matches.

When can other people see me?

Only when you choose to go online. Other people see your approximate distance—not your address, GPS position or a pin on a map.

When does the chat open?

Only after you send a ping and the other person accepts it. A ping never gives automatic access to message someone.

Can I use Loonies outside Valby and Ørestaden?

Yes. The beta is open across Denmark, but there will usually be fewer people online outside the two focus areas.

How do I install the beta?

Install the iPhone beta through TestFlight. On Android, download the signed beta APK directly. Both versions are free and for people aged 18 or older.
