Delete your Loonies account

1. Delete in the app

Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account and follow the two confirmation steps. The deletion flow closes access and initiates permanent deletion of the account and associated information that is not legally required to be retained.

2. Request by email

If you cannot open the app, email info@looniesapp.dk from the address linked to your account with the subject “Delete my Loonies account”. Never include a password, login code or national digital-ID details.

We may request limited additional verification where needed to prevent someone else deleting your account. We acknowledge the request and handle it without undue delay, normally within one month.

3. Data deleted or anonymised

• account, login access and direct profile details,
• profile images and files belonging only to the account,
• online status, push token and current location information,
• relationships such as pings, blocks and participation where retention is not required,
• chat and activity data is deleted or anonymised with regard to other participants and lawful evidence needs.

4. Data that may be retained

Limited information may be retained where required by law or necessary to document and handle fraud, serious safety incidents, legal claims or abuse. Data in encrypted backups ages out under provider backup cycles and is not used for ordinary operations.

5. Effect of deletion

Deletion is permanent. You lose access to the profile, conversations and account functions. To use Loonies again later, you must create a new account and meet the access requirements then in force.
