A local community with clear boundaries

1. Purpose

Loonies is for friendly, platonic meetings such as coffee, walks and company. It is not a dating service. All users must be at least 18 and contribute to a respectful local environment.

2. Contact requires consent

• Chat opens only after a ping or invitation is accepted.
• A yes to chat is not automatically a yes to a physical meeting, touch or other contact.
• A no, block or lack of response must be respected without pressure or repeated contact.
• Do not share another person’s address, location, images or messages without permission.

3. Prohibited conduct

• harassment, threats, stalking, hate, discrimination or sexually intrusive conduct,
• fake profiles, fraud, spam or unauthorised marketing,
• unlawful, extremely violent, sexually abusive or exploitative content,
• sharing private information or intimate images without consent,
• attempting to bypass blocks, reports or safety features.

4. Meet safely

• Meet in public the first time.
• Consider telling a friend where you are and how you will get home.
• Do not share financial information, passwords or national digital-ID credentials.
• Leave if the situation changes or feels unsafe.
• Contact local emergency services in immediate danger. Loonies is not an emergency service.

5. Blocking and reporting

Use the block or report control in the profile or chat. A block prevents relevant contact between the accounts. Reports should contain necessary context but avoid more sensitive information than needed.

If you cannot use the app, email info@looniesapp.dk with the subject “Safety”. For potentially illegal content, identify where the content appears, why you believe it is illegal and how we can contact you.

6. Moderation and review

Loonies may investigate reports and remove content, restrict features, take a user offline, suspend or close an account. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to permanent exclusion.

We aim to act promptly but cannot guarantee immediate detection of all problematic content. If you believe a significant decision is incorrect, request a review at info@looniesapp.dk.
